Job Position: The National Infantry Foundation has an opening for an Development Assistant And Database Manager. 

Duties may include but are not limited to:

·    Assists with all fundraising activities and events

         Fundraising campaigns – this includes direct mail and online fundraising

         Annual “Salute to Soldiers”

·    Serves as Foundation liaison to the volunteer silent auction committee held each year at the Gala

·  Assists with the maintenance and growth of the 1775 Society

         Member stewardship

         Renewal program

         Donor appreciation/recruitment events

·    Responsible for the comprehensive management of our database

        Gift processing, acknowledgments and report generation in support of fundraising initiatives

        Data entry of all financial gifts

       Preparation and management of mailing lists for fundraising campaigns

       Coordinates invitation lists and RSVPs for foundation events

·    Protocol manager for foundation events

·    Serves as Foundation liaison to the Columbus Cultural Arts Alliance

·    Development admin work as needed

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

·     Understands and believes in the National Infantry Museum’s mission: to honor Soldiers – past, present and future

·     Comfortable communicating with donors and potential donors

·    Possesses a high degree of computer proficiency and database management, attention to detail, and familiarity with professional office procedures

·     Strong communication skills

·     Able to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines

·     Skilled in both written and oral communication

·     Able to work independently

·     Able to work occasional nights, weekends and holiday hours


·     Bachelor’s degree preferred
