Museum’s Annual Day of Giving Returns on November 13
The third annual Georgia Gives Day is only a week away! Last year, the National Infantry Museum came in first in the state, raising $48,997 in just 24 hours. With additional prize money from the Georgia Center of Nonprofits, our grand total was $57,497! We’re looking forward to another great Georgia Gives Day this year on Thursday, November 13, and we hope you’ll participate. Here’s how:
-Your donation can be in the form of a personal check or credit card, but it must be entered online through the museum’s profile on the Georgia Gives Day website. Click here to visit our profile and make a donation. All donations are tax-deductible.
-Do you live or work near the museum? Please stop by throughout the day on Thursday, November 13. Our staff will be in the lobby soliciting donations, giving away prizes, and posting Faces of Freedom selfies from our supporters on social media. Stop by and tell us about a Veteran who inspires you and you may be featured on our website and Facebook page!
-If November 13 is not convenient for you to make your donation or you’d rather not make it online, please contact us at 706-653-9234 or email info@nationalinfantryfoundation.org. We’d be happy to discuss more options of how to participate in our annual day of giving.
-Please like our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter and Instagram (@infantrymuseum). Help us spread the word about the National Infantry Museum to patriots across the nation!
Why Is Your Donation So Important?
Many visitors are surprised to learn that the National Infantry Museum is operated by the National Infantry Foundation – a private 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. This world-class museum exists because of generous donors and supporters. Operating costs and special programs are covered by your direct contributions. With your donation, the National Infantry Foundation is able to keep the history and legacy of the United States Infantry alive.
