The National Infantry Museum’s Memorial Day Observance was conducted virtually to contain the possible spread of coronavirus.

Museum staff and veterans took part in the ceremony, honoring those who have fallen while serving their country. They also dedicated about 100 new commemorative pavers that have been placed on Heritage Walk since last Veterans Day. The carved granite pavers are purchased by the general public both in recognition of a loved one and to help support museum operations.

The museum remains closed to visitors, however they are encouraged to stroll through the campus to locate pavers or to reflect at some of the many monuments and memorials on the Memorial Walk of Honor.

We look forward to being able to welcome everyone back to the museum soon!
