A Heritage Walk Paver Dedication Ceremony will be held on Veterans Day on November 11 at 10 a.m. in Cavezza Hall. Commemorative pavers purchased since the Memorial Day Dedication will be unveiled during this ceremony.
 
Activities scheduled for that day include:
 
9 a.m. – 1p.m. – Appreciating Sacrifice, a 4-hour mini-camp teaching children 5-11 the meaning and importance of Veterans Day and the sacrifices Soldiers make daily. $10 per camper. 10 a.m. – Paver Dedication Ceremony on Heritage Walk for commemorative pavers installed since Memorial Day. Guest speaker: Command Sergeant Major Robert Fortenberry, CSM of the US Army Infantry.
 
11 a.m. – Moment of silence observed.
 
11 a.m. – 3 p.m. – World War II Company Street open for self-guided tours.
 
12:30 p.m. – Local Boy Scouts will conduct an official flag retirement ceremony at the fire pit behind the museum.
 
The museum will be open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. November 11. There is no admission fee, however a $5 per person donation is requested.
