Veterans Day Paver Dedication
The National Infantry Museum invites the community to gather in Cavezza Hall for a special Veterans Day ceremony honoring the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
The annual observance is an opportunity to recognize our veterans, reflect on their contributions to our nation’s freedom, and express our gratitude to those who have answered the call to serve.
The museum’s Veterans Day traditions include the ringing of a handbell eleven times in remembrance of the end of World War I, along with the dedication of newly installed commemorative pavers on Heritage Walk.
Guest Speaker: Noah Galloway
This year’s featured speaker is Noah Galloway, a decorated U.S. Army Infantry veteran, Purple Heart recipient, author, and nationally recognized motivational speaker.
Galloway served with the 101st Airborne Division and completed two deployments during Operation Iraqi Freedom. During his second deployment, he was severely wounded by an improvised explosive device, resulting in the loss of his left arm and left leg.
Through determination, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to personal growth, Galloway rebuilt his life and became an advocate for veterans, mental health, and overcoming adversity. His remarkable journey has inspired audiences nationwide, including through his appearances on Dancing with the Stars and his bestselling book, Living with No Excuses.
His story of service, perseverance, and purpose makes him a meaningful voice for this year’s Veterans Day commemoration.
