Established in 1952, Fort Benning’s Officer Candidate School is responsible for the training of commissioned officers in the U.S. Army, transforming qualified soldiers into leaders.
After you’ve completed your tour of the downstairs galleries, head upstairs to the mezzanine level. The Officer Candidate School Hall of Honor recognizes the 2,000+ OCS Hall of Fame inductees who have led distinguished careers, both in the military and civilian world, following their graduation from the federal OCS program.
Induction is automatic for any OCS graduate who has received the Medal of Honor or attained general officer rank. Other nominees are selected based on their distinguished service in their civilian and military careers. A computerized kiosk provides photos and biographies of all inductees. Search now for OCS by name or OCS by induction year.
The OCS Hall of Honor stands directly across from the Ranger Hall of Honor and the Fife and Drum, our full-service restaurant and bar offering the perfect place to relax during your tour.
