Brent Taylor had a variety from interests and hobbies. He loved C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien and The Lord of the Rings series, as well as the Horatio Hornblower series. His wife, Jennie, said, “We sometimes joked that he would been so happy to have been born 200 years earlier!” Brent also enjoyed playing strategy board games like Risk and Axis and Allies. He was also ruthless at Monopoly. He also loved to hunt, fish, and hike. When deployed, he enjoyed doing CrossFit with the Afghan soldiers. Brent wasn’t much into sports but always volunteered to be the referee or umpire when the time came. He kept his mind and body active!
