Wednesday, August 15:
The National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center is proud to sponsor in part with WLTZ 38 to host the world premiere of Saints and Soldiers: Airborne Creed at Patriot Park IMAX on Wednesday, August 15th at 7 p.m.
Saints and Soldiers: Airborne Creed takes moviegoers back 68 years ago to August 15, 1944 when the 517th Parachute Regimental Combat Team (PRCT) jumped over South France. The film, written and directed by Richard Little, relives the history of the Soldiers who risked their lives in an effort to hold true to the Airborne Creed.
Prior to the 7p.m. premiere, Little as well as World War II Paratrooper, LTC Hal Beddow will hold an informal Q&A session. After the screening, Little and Beddow will be available on the mezzanine (upstairs in the museum) for a meet-and-greet to answer additional questions.
Admission to the screening is free and open to the public. Please join us in this once in a lifetime event!
Saturday, August 18:
The National Infantry Foundation is gearing up for the third annual 1775 Gala and Silent Auction. This year’s black-tie Gala will be held the evening of Saturday, August 18th. The 1775 Gala is the National Infantry Museum’s signature fundraising event. This year’s theme is ‘Benning Beginnings,’ and we would love for you to join us!
Tickets are $150 per person and include a catered dinner, followed by a night filled with music and dancing with Jeremy Davis and The Fabulous Equinox Orchestra!
A Silent Auction will also take place with items ranging from a week at an Italian villa to an autographed football signed by Alabama head coach, Nick Saban.

The museum is honored to announce that the World at War gallery is expanding to include an exhibit that focuses on the Holocaust. The exhibit, Uncovering the Holocaust, will be open to the public starting Sunday, August 26th. The exhibit entails the unspeakable atrocities that over eight million Jews and others suffered, as well as the heroic actions of Allied Forces who liberated survivors from Nazi concentration camps.
There will be an Exhibit Dedication Ceremony and Ribbon-Cutting in the Grand Hall on Sunday, August 26th at 2 p.m. The ceremony is open to all who wish to attend. Please be advised the remaining museum galleries and exhibits will close at 1:30 for this Special Event.
